KLCC water park.

KL is hot hot hot!

What better way to cool off than at the KLCC wading pools right behind the Petronas Towers.

We got a taxi from our accomodation as it would have been a bit of a walk in the hot sun.

The pool area is right next to huge playground ( it was empty due to the fact it was boiling hot and the kids were in the water!) the wading pools are for under 12,s only and there are security people hiding in the limited shade to blow their whistles to demand order and rule following.

We witnessed many people getting whistle blowed due to walking near the water with their shoes on.

Andrew thought he would take off his tshirt and enjoy a dip with the kids....well the whistlers went into a frenzy! Its okay for adults just to stand and watch the kids but apparently no swimming!

It is a great way to cool off in a hot city, change rooms are available and my kids had a ball. We then hit the shopping centre for some AC comfort and some Indian food from the food court for $2.

Look at that backdrop for a ten month old baby to swim near!

The wading pools are free and available for a cool dip and play from around 11am until 8pm.

Can't believe I've never seen this before! Just showed the boys and they are excitedly looking forward to checking it out during our 2 days in kl - we already know and love the food court :). Thnx for sharing. Great pics!
