This is our backyard with the trees starting to blossom.
This year Thursdays are beautiful as Cooper goes happily to school and I have a whole day with Pep and Woody as Andrew does school pick up. We mostly go to the local library for story and craft time but since we have all had colds on and off we have been staying indoors.
Mostly the baby naps and Pep and I do craft. She got so many supplies and activities for her birthday that we have been doing a craft activity most days since June! ( after I took this picture I realised just how grown up my girl is and how beautiful she is both inside and out)
Today she decorated a princess mirror, coloured a backpack and did a special art canvas for Fathers Day ( pictures to come on Sunday). The evenings this week have been warmish as Spring approaches and the kids have spent much time in the garden. Cooper and Pepper set up a shop and sell me lemon shakes and roti. Cooper does the cooking and Pepper takes the money.
The baby mostly eats dirt, face plants from different heights and laughs. He tries to eat the lemons, cruises around everything and delicately tries to nibble leaves.
This is Woodys smooshie face he does!
Pep is wearing a necklace we made together.
There really is something magical about Springtime approaching.
Next year we will continue to have day off Thursday as Pepper attends Kindergarten every other day.
Time seems to be going too fast I am glad I have Thursdays to just be.

Oh how lovely!! I was only saying today that I don't enjoy Thursdays much. I like Thursday nights...but the days seem to be on the cusp of something better. You have made Thursdays sound like something to look forward to- I will try harder to enjoy next Thursday :)
Beautiful Pepper! She looks so grown up. Jess xo
Happy Thursday indeed! Pepper is gorgeous indeed, inside and out. Beautiful tree pic.
I cant beleive how grown up Pepper looks either...and Woody. Gosh where did that time go????
I love that name, Pepper! It's so beautiful! What a splendid day you had. I have to admit I have failed in the fathers day craft project. I look forward to seeing what you all created. Xx
I love these pics and I also love Thursdays! Yay! oxo
Zanni this time last year I was as pregnant as you and Andrew still hasn't forgiven me for the lack of fathers day celebrations! ;) so I had to produce this year!
Looking forward to hearing about your Thursday x
I did think of you as I looked at that gum tree x
Thanks for visiting Jen! Indeed a year just flew!
Thursdays are now super busy for me so jealous of your special day. Love the pic of Princess Pepper flashing past. Definitely magical xx Di
