I started blogging to share my parenting journey with a major part being about disability. I have met some amazing people and families both online and in person. Each Friday I love reading all the blogs linked up by Ellen and Max about people who share this disability journey some so similar to ours and some quite different.
This is where I came across Kerri's blog about her wonderful daughter Boo. I since found out it is her nickname but I still know and relate to her as Boo! Kerri always has a great story to tell with such humour and honesty. She awarded me for my blog and in doing so has asked me some great questions!
In turn I need to share and award 3 blogs and discover more about the people behind the blog.
1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I would change my temper! There is not much between calm and flying off the handle sometimes.
2. High heels, sneakers or flip flops?
Toss up between sneakers and flip flops! I don't own higheels or a handbag for that matter. Its a it too grown up for me!
3. The Beach, the City or the Mountain?
Beach for sure, although I loved the Winter I spent on the mountain at Lake Tahoe.
4. Who is your favorite singer/group?
I have no idea, I have started to listen to music though while running and am embarrassed to admit that its Taylor Swift even though I am 36 not 16! And keeping with the teenage theme One Direction may also feature on my running playlist!
5. If you could vacation anywhere (expense is not a consideration) where would you go and why?
I would have to go to Machu Picchu in Peru and then discover the rest of South America as part of a round the world trip that was extended for the rest of my life! Why? Because I have always wanted to!
6.Do you mind that my blog is sometimes snarky?
I do not mind at all. Sometimes life is snarky and I love your honesty.
7. What is one thing we would be surprised to know about you?
I was employed to teach skiiing to kids in Lake Tahoe before I had ever seen snow! Aussie accents get you places sometimes!
8.Favorite, guilty pleasure, TV show?
My favourite Aussie TV show is Offspring. American show would be Greys Anatomy. However my house has been taken over my Harry Potter dvds.....
9. Favorite book or author?
Its been a while since I read a book.....but I do read Lonely Planet guides quite a bit! Currently reading Cambodia to the kids at bedtime!
10. Do you admit to having a favorite child?
Well I have three to choose from and it changes most days! Each age and gender brings with it challenges and suprises. I do have a very soft spot for Pepper though! Each by themselves are adorable but three together is not!
11. If you could replace your life with one from the Disney Channel which show would you pick?
The only show I know that might be on Disney is Hannah Montanna. So yes that! Living at the beach, able to sing and dance, great bedroom and 16 again! Pity Billy Ray comes as the Dad though!

I keep wondering what you will name your blog when Woody isn't the 'baby' anymore.
Initially it was just Big brother,little sister...., then I added the baby! Yes good point as he's clearly no baby these days so I will start to think of a name change! ;)
